Hankettes

Hankettes is a micro business in the village of Roberts Creek, BC, Canada. Our purpose: to reduce waste and pollution by making and offering hundreds of alternatives to the mass of pollution-creating products which are widely available and accepted on the market today.

Since 1996 we have been making reusable organic cotton products. We began offering our natural body care line in 2006. Eventually in 2009 we took over the making of it as well. We believe local is best, as it more accurately reflects the true cost of goods being made and sold, employs community, and reduces environmental footprints.

We source all our ingredients and fabrics as close to home as possible. Much of our organic cotton is grown and milled in the USA, and the rest is grown and milled in Portugal. Many of the ingredients in our natural body care products are locally wild crafted, locally grown, or sourced from other BC growers.

Our vision is and always has been to hand make and offer products which are locally made, fair wage paid, good for people and our planet.
