About the designer:

Magrienne Collection is a Ghanaian based fashion house aimed at satisfying professional women’s interest in bespoke yet affordable clothing. Magrienne Collection designs unique clothing made from selected African prints combined with plain dyed cotton fabric, silk chiffon and denim. Our aim is to make the African woman, and women in general, feel good and look classy.

Maame Aba Gyampoh founded Magrienne Collection in January 2004. Maame studied fashion and textile design at the Takoradi Polytechnic where she received her national diploma. Since then Maame has set up her own workshop and retail store and has made in-roads into exporting to the South African market. Maame is currently working on completing her degree in psychology at the University of Ghana while continuing to manage her business. She aims to grow Magrienne Collection into a household name in Africa and beyond.
