Toto Knits + Lionne Scarf - Light Blue

Story

This season Lionne teams with Toto Knits to bring you these beautiful hand knit scarves made from organic Ugandan cotton and bio friendly dies. They are long enough to keep you extra warm, and soft enough to keep you extra comfortable. Plus you will know the name of the woman who knit your scarf. A stylish statement indeed.

Scarf measures approximately 175cm (70in) X 25 cm (10 in).

Erin Brennan Allan and Mary Wambui met in 2002 when Erin moved from New York to Nairobi, Kenya. Mary was teaching Arts and Crafts at the school Erin was volunteering at and persuaded Erin to pick up a pair of knitting needles and get creating.

Toto Knits provides mothers with ongoing employment, and enables them to do their work from their own home so that they can put their kids first. Toto has gained recognition as a producer of high quality knits, and is especially known for its adorable children's pieces. Ten years on from their first meeting, Mary trains and manages a group of up to 200 knitters while Erin works on design and marketing

Lionne is proud to work with such an innovative and devoted team of women to bring you their wonderful pieces. Wrap yourself in a beautiful scarf, and treat the women around you to a special Christmas treat.
