This involves visiting their home in rural Mexico, consulting on the colour and design of the pieces, ordering and then collecting them once they have been created. This relationship ensures that the family is being paid a fair price, and that the money goes directly into the hands of those who have created these lovely pieces. The family takes great care and pride in their work.

Working with small scale producers involved nurturing personal relationships, and allows la mano to target artisans with very limited market access.
