Story

Made from 100% organic fair trade cotton. Our cotton comes from the Andhra Pradesh cooperative OCGrA – Organic Cotton Growers Association – in central India (Fair Trade certified by FLO and organic by Ecocert and Skal). The factory in Calcutta where they are produced is also Fair Trade certified by FLO and organic by Control Union according to GOTS standards. This gives us a garment made in respect of the environment and good conditions for workers, based on, and going beyond the conventions of the International Labour Organization.

This product has been manufactured according to the Global Organic Textiles Standard, which means that at least 70% of its fibers are certified organic. Organic fibers are fertilizer- and pesticide-free, and have minimal impact on wastewater systems.
