NutraSea DHA uses oils from wild squid, caught already for calamari. In making calamari much of the squid goes unused and considered waste. This “waste” however contains 35% more omega-3 than wild salmon and 100% more than krill. Unlike most fish species, the Pacific Squid population has dramatically increased in the last 30 years and is naturally resistant to overfishing due to an early reproductive age. Finally, wild squid are caught using traditional jig catching methods from artisanal boats – this process relies on selective fishing with virtually no bycatch and no impact on reefs and the marine environment.

Every lot of product is tested by a third party for quality and purity and all test results are posted online – no other omega-3 supplements offer this level of transparency.

The fresh citrus flavour of NutraSea DHA comes in liquid form and enjoyed by most straight up off a spoon but can also be added to smoothies or salad dressings.
