"Kazuri" Bracelet

In Swahili, Kazuri means "small and beautiful". These colorful ceramic beads are made by a community of single mothers just outside of Nairobi, Kenya. The business was set up as a help center for needy women who have no other source of income. Bazant Unique Adornments is proud to support the Kazuri mission, as well as the Fair Trade Act, by using Kazuri ceramics to create contemporary jewelry.

18 gauge hard sterling silver wire is shaped, filed and hammered to a rounded finish. Black Czech glass beads provide a complementary style. Signed in silver.

Full length is 19 cm (7.5"). Width of Kazuri bead is 2 cm (.75"); width of black glass bead is 1 cm (.5").
