Great design, but could be more durable

I bought this bag in April 2010. I love the size, shape, and design. It is a practical purse with a great look. I was disappointed however with the durability of this product. The shoulder strap was the first thing to go, in less than a year, which I replaced with a cotton belt. Now the zipper has failed and outer material is starting to fray. While you can send in our old bag for 10% off a new one, but I am not sure it is worth it if I have to replace it every year and half. Disappointing, because I do really love this purse.
