AfriCAN has a pretty simple idea: Use the common language of fashion to catalyse new conversations between ordinary Canadians about the achievements, beauty and power of Africa. AfriCAN works with tailors in Malawi and Zambia to create eye-catching clothes made from the characteristic African cloth. Nothing reflects the potential and energy of Africa better than the bold, creative and vibrant African cloth which is worn by its people across the 53 countries in Africa.

We envision passionate advocates all over Canada making a public statement about Africa by wearing these clothes in schools, workplaces and the streets.
