Bark Edge Salad Bowl

Good for the Earth Good for People
Story

These bark edged salad bowls are hand-turned on a lathe from a single solid piece of wood. The material for these bowls is carefully chosen for spaulting patterns and quality from selectively harvested Eastern Ontario red maple trees. The individual by-hand creation of these pieces allows for each piece to be unique. As such, the pictures above represent this type of work. Any pieces ordered will resemble these bowls but cannot be identical as no two bowls can be made identical.

This size serves salad for 4 people.

These bowls are finished with vegetable oil and bees wax and are entirely food safe. Preferred uses include; garden salad, rice, pasta salad, bread, fruit bowl.
