We define sustainability as using only what we need for today so that future generations will have plenty leftover.
Every product and its manufacturing and packaging processes are scrutinised in detail to eliminate any use of chemicals or man made trims that do not add to their functionality. We do not subscribe to any certifying bodies as we don't believe in buying green certificates. We do believe in transparency and have outlined our processes, identified those who make products for us so that you can decide for yourself, whether our products are ecofriendly and sustainable.
Our clothing is made from 100% recycled fibres from PRE consumer cotton clippings and recycled plastic bottles. No bleach or dyestuffs or other chemicals usually found in dyed clothing is used. Our colors come from the first life cotton clippings,which are collected from factories and separated by color.
The fabrics have been tested under our brand at SGS Intertek to show no presence of formaldehyde or pthalates. Lead presence was tested at 17 ppm. To put this into perspective, the US government standard for lead in children's clothing is 300 ppm!
