My name is John Warren. I am an environmental artist and my business is named Alter Eco Environmental Folk Art. I am self-taught and have been in the Arts & Crafts Industry for over 25 years. My growing concern for environmental and social issues has led me to environmental art.

Using recycled and found materials, Alter Eco understands the meaning of a better ‘ecology’, both environmentally and socially.

Our focus is on unique artworks, jewellery, and a gift line of original home accessories. We collaborate on projects with other businesses, from artisans to corporations, and, importantly, to inform and educate. We also lead creative workshops for people who have been sidelined by life and society.

5% of net sales will be donated to Doctors Without Borders for Japan relief.

IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: This is copper jewellery and will leave a green mark especially when its humid. This is why it is healthy. It is copper oxide and is absorbed by all cells and functions as an anti-oxidant.

Return Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly refund the selling price less the original shipping & handling charges in all cases.I will accept returns and on any of our products within 7 days from the date of receipt. You are responsible for return shipping charges (except in the case of a defective item or a fulfillment error on our part). In the event of an exchange, we will ship the replacement product to you free of charge. Please email me before you ship it with an image of the damage and include a note with your return that states your name, request for refund or exchange, and reason for return. We will not accept items that have been irreparably damaged.
